Another activity from the Indonesian ministry that our school has participated in is the Green Youth Movement. This activity is under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. The Green Youth Movement is a basic educational program for the environmental movement that provides a forum for the younger generation to exchange knowledge about protecting and managing the environment.
There were 4 students who took part in this activity, namely Aurellia, Mentari, Glendy and Falendro. They are grade 10 and grade 11 students majoring in hospitality and tourism services.
This activity will be held from August 21–26, 2023, at the Bunaken National Park Office online throughout Indonesia.
The aim of carrying out this activity is to increase understanding and knowledge about solving environmental problems. Not only that, this activity also aims to create environmental ambassadors among high school and vocational school-level students throughout Indonesia.
