The flag ceremony is one of the activities to commemorate Indonesia’s independence day, which is always held on the 17th of August.
In 2023, at our school, we will hold a flag ceremony that will be attended by all students from kindergarten, elementary, middle school, and vocational high school. Not only school residents but also Thalassa’s guests participated in the ceremony. And they look so happy about it.
Not only as a memorial, the flag ceremony was also held so that the students would remember the services of the heroes who were willing to sacrifice to fight for the Indonesian state against the invaders.
